Online Training

Buffalo Triathlon recommends all participants follow a training plan in order to maximize fitness gains during their training and help ensure a positive race experience. With a wealth of information out there, many are confused regarding what plan to follow for this race. Buffalo Triathlon has teamed up with Active Trainer to offer online training specific to Buffalo Triathlon. Customized for your beginning fitness level and race distance, these plans will email your workouts to you daily and help keep you on track for a great race! Included are many valuable tools, ranging from various training calculators to race maps. You may preview these plans here.

Triathlon Training Seminar

A seminar series featuring hands-on swim, bike, and run clinics will be held at Golds Gym in Buffalo for first-time triathletes as well as beginning/intermediate level athletes wishing to improve their performance. A variety of topics are covered and there are ample opportunities to network with training partners. We will once again have group rides and open water swims on the course for those eager for summer to arrive! The series consists of 5 classes from 7-9 p.m. on Tuesday evenings from April 6 through May 4. Classes will be limited to the first 40 persons. Cost is $50 for the entire series, and includes a free customized online training plan (a $35 value). Register here.
