The real star of the 2008 race was the weather, with glassy water and
crystal blue skies greeting the 1500 registered athletes for a great
day of racing and the debut of Minnesota's first Aquathon. Returning
champion Chris Legh set a new course record on the revised Olympic bike
course.

2007 drew an increasingly competitive field of 20 elite racers, including
returning champion Chris Legh, with a record 1300 age group racers registered,
including both 2 and 3 person teams, making it the second largest triathlon
in MN. Despite threatening skies, nearly 1100 participants enjoyed cool,
dry conditions with only some light rain during the run for some racers.

2006 drew two top professional athletes from opposite ends of the glode,
and expanded the age group field to over 900 athletes, including new
team competition. Unseasonable warm weather preceding the race made
for a comfortable swim, and record numbers of spectators and volunteers
were on hand for a great day of racing. View
